Time for Holidays

Last two weeks kept me very busy and tomorrow when I'm finished with all the assessments I start in to my summer holidays. I will not post much in that time, so this will be the last post for a while. But you can check drawcular.blogspot.com and my twitter (KaiSchuettler) for updates and new stuff. When I return from my holidays this blog will have a new look, so stay tuned please. Thanks to all my followers, I'm always happy to see some new faces in my sidebar. Have a nice summer!

Die Rocko Schamoni Edition

Mal ein post auf deutsch zum gegebenen Anlass. Habe mich in den letzten Semesterferien mal drangesetzt meine persönliche Rocko Schamoni Hörbuchedition zu entwerfen, da ich zwischendurch immer mal Sachen für mein CD-Portfoilio mache und die Hörbücher einfach der Hammer sind. Habe selten etwas lustigeres gehört und vor allem Risiko des Ruhms kann man sich immer wieder anhören! Also kann ich nur empfehlen. Habe auch überlegt die Cover mal an den Verlag zu schicken.

And for my english speaking readers (if there are any), these are covers I made some time ago for three audiobooks from the german author Rocko Schamoni. I made them for my portfolio and it wasn't a real job but maybe I'll send them to the publisher and see what happens...

Rediscovered

Yesterday I rediscovered this picture I painted last year. It was a speedpainting which turned out nice.

First try, failed!

This was the first page I made for my book. I totally changed the style and characters now as you can see in the previous post. I like it much better now! Anyway, I thought it might be interesting to see some unused stuff and sketches I made. 

My new book...

I'm actually working on a book and I will show some of the drawings in the near future. I hope to finish the last page today and then I can start to color it. Here's a very small preview, more will come soon!
