Roof rendezvous

This is my first painting with gouache and a birthday present for my girlfriends mother. I made an underpainting with watercolour and painted with gouache on top. Worked quiet well! Maybe I'll experiment with gouache a bit more, blending is easier than with acrylics. If you click on the painting it's nearly the original size.

Shadow dog

Another quick study based on a photo. I think it was taken from the sixmorevodka blog. I liked the reference picture very much because of the colors and lightening, so it was fun to paint! Hopefully I'll have some time again for more studies in the near future but in the next days I'll post some portfolio stuff I think. Stay tuned for updates :-)
